    Fuel Gauge Stuck on Empty

More then likely it is one of the sensors, like I mentioned in other posts I am 6'2" and a lean build so I can change out the front sensor in the tank. If you are lucky and it is a rear sensor that would be an easy fix.

    Fuel Gauge Stuck on Empty

Reading the fault codes will tell you if it is a sending unit. It will say either unit 1 or 2. If it is a grounding failure the gauge will not say empty but give all sorts of funky readings accompanied by random check brake pad warnings. A complete new fuel tank with the front sensor...

Lower Tailgate Moulding crooked on many LR3's

I can tell that the bumper cover is not on there right. Pretty simple to take it off and remount it. Someone probably backed in to something and popped it off its plastic retainers.

    Where's the leak?

Which ever line runs from the front valve block to the compressor valve black, I think I recall it is black. The green line goes from the shock to the front valve block. If you disconnect that one the front shock will deflate.

    Locked My Keys in...

Was your door actually closed all the way when you locked the keys in? If the door does fully close it will seem locked but you just have to bump it all the way closed and the safety unlock will engage. Learned that one the same way.

Compressor Mod - use it for tires?

Yes you can use the factory compressor to air up tires but it will throw a fault as the compressor cannot keep up with the volume. As for being able to fill up the reservoir tank with an external compressor in order to air up your system it will only work if you have something like a fault-mate...

Where do these harness plugs go??

There are lots of un-connected plugs throughout the vehicle. most are there to plug in options that you may not have. If you have a fully loaded machine with all options then I would be suspect.

    Air Strut tube corrosion concerns

As Houm said I can't imagine actual corrosion on the air bag casing. It is aluminum. Now if that diagnosis is actually referring to nicks in the airbag housing on the outside. usually due to the upper control arms starting to make contact when extended then the actual shock needs to be...

    Check brake pads error

I had this and it turned out to be a short in the fuel pump grounding wire. I was at about the same mileage on my 06. The short was actually at the main plug between the interior wiring harness and the main wiring harness down by the rear driver rear wheel where the those two plugs are (or 3...

    Where's the leak?

I have been reading this thread tonight. I want to clear up one thing though, the exhaust will happen even with the door open. It has always done so on my 2006. That is just the main gallery pressure release when the compressor stops pumping. With the door open it will only hinder any...

Is 320 miles good on a tank in Los Angeles city driving?

Yes I get the similar stats but not in LA traffic. I rarely get over 15 miles per gallon on a tank while driving around LA. I am sure some of it depends on how much of that LA driving you actually do and of course how much of a lead foot you have. While the tank capacity is listed at 22.8 I...

Is 320 miles good on a tank in Los Angeles city driving?

Sounds exceptionally good. If you are filling up 20 gallons you are getting 16 miles per gallon which I believe is what the mileage rating is. About 285 is what I see also in LA traffic

    Alarm going off

an indie shop can tell you what the last 5 alarm triggers are. It could be any of the doors.

FYI Arnott only makes shocks for the front.

    Air Bag (suspension) Rubber cover/sleeve.

your issue is not the gator boot. It just keeps dirt or mud out of the shock. your issue sounds more like actual shock, valve block or computer issues. I would go with a re-flash of the suspension computer module first (worked for me) then look at valve block and sensor issues.

    LR3 engine change

Not true for the LR3. It was true for the full size Range Rover at least regarding the BMW engine on 05. LR3 always had the Jaguar origin V-8 or the Ford origin V-6 as far as gas engines go. Not sure of the origin of the TDV6 but I would guess Jaguar.

    Fuel Gauge Stuck on Empty

If you are not really good at these things, best to just take it in. It does sound like a sensor failure but can also be a grounding short. I have had both. Sensor failure is most likely. Rear sensor is easy to change, front sensor is tough but can be done if you are tall and lean like me...

    Third row seats!

the seat belts are easily added as well. The mounts are all there, just need to buy the parts including the trim parts that have the cutouts for the shoulder belts. The 5 seaters just have filler stuff with tool cutouts down where the 3rd row folds down that can be removed. To me the 3rd row...

    Front valve block leak

As far as the the emergency air up system, yes you can use it without pulling a fuse because the system has faulted out usually and is non-operable. In some cases if the fault is related to the compressor or reserve tank. Filling the springs may cause to the fault to clear and then re-fault...

    Where's my water?

Mine only drains in real time if I am pointed uphill. I think it drains into the frame initially. If I am sitting flat with engine and AC running for a time and the take off uphill I leave a water trail for 20' or so.

Good cleaner for leather on seats and doors?

I use the Connolly leather cleaner LR recommends, works great. Can order a concentrate on Amazon that has lasted me for about 5 years. Same maker as the conditioner LR recommends as well that you can get on Amazon. I have tan seats and (3) 6 year old kids so they do get worked over pretty well.

    EAS Woes....solved?

I was having cross articulation errors about 9 months ago. After replacing all the sensors one by one with my spares I was still getting them. Put the old ones back on and re-flashed the EAS computer software and have not seen it since.

    cracked sunroof supports

Mine has never rattled, even on rough washboard fire roads. for all i know they have been cracked since it rolled of the factory floor. First time I ever looked at them after about a year they were cracked and I rarely ever opened the sunroof.
