Crank needs to be locked to allow removal of the crank bolt. This method doesn't put stress on the camshaft drive train. The crank bolt is ti Also used to determine whether left hand or right hand threads. 10.9 would be right hand threads.- Rover Range

Rear Camera Back Up Camera
You may have pushed the camera into the housing. The horizontal strip that the camera sits in has several nuts that have to be removed. Remove the rear hatch inner panel to access these nuts. Then the camera panel pops off. See if the camera is adrift.- Rover Range

The timing chain has an odd number of links. Hence the 30 revolutions. The flywheel needs to be locked to remove the crank bolt. The bolt is left hand thread. Clockwise to remove. I use a long 3/4" breaker bar from Northern Tools to remove the bolt.- Rover Range

It's always a good idea to blow out the spark plug and injector cavities with compressed air. Take a woodeN dowel that fits tight into the injector port and blow out with compressed air. You would also need this tool to install and resize the injector teflon seals.- Rover Range

Use this on the fuel rail. No penetrant required. After removing the fuel rail, be sure to blow out the spark plug cavities. Don't want all that trash in the engine.- Rover Range

You should have about a 1/2" clearance. When you power brake it, you can see the engine cover from the driver's seat.- Rover Range

Timing Chain parts
Chains and tensioners are the same. The issue with the guides are that the chain tensioners are metal and the guides are aluminum. The tensioner will wear into the guide. The battle between metal and aluminum, metal always win. The new guides have a metal button where the tensioner pushes on...- Rover Range

vibration at idle - motor mounts?
Take a look at your air intake tube at the throttle body. If the tube is sitting on the fan shroud, the mounts are collapsed. Another check you can do is. In a safe area. Open the hood. Engine running- put the vehicle in drive- foot on the brake- give it some gas- you will see the motor jump up...- Rover Range

P26CB-72 Engine Code
Ghost code on all variants of this engine. Has to do with the monitoring system used by the PCM. If that's the only DTC and the check engine light is on, then there's an issue with the coolant pump.- Rover Range

Suspension issues
More than likely, front struts leaking. Raise both front wheels off the ground. Start engine, all doors closed. Activate suspension switch to off road. Wait 5 min. Turn engine off. Lower vehicle back down. Off jacks. Spray soapy water around the top of the strut. Also, listen for air leaks.- Rover Range

New alternator, must I calibrate in Gap for BMS? Also rock sliders install talk
Looks like a regular piece of wire. Couple inches from the positive cable. Pull the wire out and try to stretch it. The wire will pull apart if the fusible link is blown.- Rover Range
