    Ok so this has been happening so i just had the tube going to the oil sensor replaced and the problem still occurs. If i measure the oil with the hood open i get a different result than with hood closed. With hood open it tells me to add .5 quart. With hood closed it says its perfect. Thoughts?

    same thing happened to me with te PVC valve and vacuum pump being culprits. had 5 qrtz missing and no indication from the dash. truly nuts.

    so i cant find the post but i cld have sworn my 2011 LR4 used to have autolock, not with keys in the car but if you walked away from the truck. my 2013 doesnt do it so unlikely the 2018s do.
