RRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRR, Yeah baby yeah!!!! Seriously, the noise the fan makes has a nice note to it. Very tourqey note....I think I've only experienced it 4 times since I've had the LR4. I have had it for over a year now. MAybe with mushrooms I can hear it all the time! LOL!!!! -

large noise from cooling fan
david, you won't hear it all the time. only occasionally it kicks in. I notice it some mornings depending on the conditions which allow the fan to "kick in". Beautiful note to it! kind of intimidating if you don't know what is going on. -

Audio Mute when in R
got a loaner LR3 a few weeks ago. I noticed that with the radio on, when I put it in reverse the sound went off (muted) and came back to the preset level as soon as I took it out of R. I assume this is so the driver can hear the sensor beeps more clearly. I was wondering if anyone is aware if... -

Fuel Level Indicator Issue?
Hey David, I had the seat squeaking issue early on at about 7 or 8 k miles. It eventually went away completely on it's own. I think it is a break in thing and eventually it will disappear. George -

LR4 2011 HSE Review

HID installed
DRLs are the low beams at FULL power. There is no way to turn on the LEDs as DRLs. When you have the DRLs activated, the LEDs along with the low beams (full power) will come on. I had my DRLs activated and then Deactivated a few months later since I thought it was a waste of my bulbs ESP the... -

No need for harness and no need for code eliminator. Just ballast and bulbs and youre good to go. 55 W is too bright. -

Running the A/C
David, as with everything in the car like lights, entertainment system, AC, etc....it is always a good idea to power these down before you turn the car off. I try to shut down the AC before I turn the car off . I do not leave my lights on AUto since I like to turn them off before shutting down... -
