Looks good! I've have the larger size in both the Nittos and the Coopers. Never had any problems with them. I like the slightly larger size and wider footprint off road as well.

Rock crawl is the softest and allows the most wheel articulation. I even get a little rubbing in that mode with my 285/60/18's, but only on the front of the rear wheel wells.
You're over 32" total diameter, so you'll definitely get a lot of rubbing, especially if you use Rock Crawl at all. Need to keep it under 31.5" if you want to avoid rubbing without using the rods. I have 285/60/18's and still got minimal rubbing in the front of the rear wheel wells using Rock...
Great advice from cbboard. I have a similar setup. I made a point to find the HD package for the rear locking diff, but it was very tough to find in California. Ended up getting shipped down from NoCal as there were none in SoCal at the time. (I had an '06 before without the rear locker and I...
I've had Cooper Zeon LTZ's since 2007 with the Range Rover Sport. Just got a new set for the LR3 and never had trouble in mud or snow. Here's a couple shots of some deeper mud in Colorado.
Me after going through it
Another guy in the group going through the same spot - Also Coopers, but...
In addition to a little more pedal, in this situation you should always turn DSC off as well. It will cut power to the tires with traction and send it to the spinning wheel(s), which is exactly the opposite of what you need here. Rock Crawl mode with DSC off would make this a piece of cake. I...
Has anyone seen raised air intakes on an LR4? I'm curious to know if they even exist, now that there are real intakes on both sides (vs. just the one side on the LR3). If you've got pics, that would be great. Thinking up upgrading my 08 someday and just wondering how this would work.

So while we're on the subject, where'e the cheapest place to get an ARB bumper? One of those wish list items of mine, along with the rear ladder...
You slept in the Rover? Were you able to close the back? I'm about the same height and don't quite feel like I've got enough room. Very cool getting it out there so soon. Great picture.
That's strange. I've been incredibly impressed by the Cooper Zeons in the snow. They are snow rated. I've been off road with no chains and up to the doors in powder with no issues. This was back when I had a Sport.
I use it to downshift coming off the freeway to help save the brakes and it has helped a lot. The first Rover I had was an '06 Sport and I needed to replace the brakes after only ~17k miles. I wasn't used to the heavier car and was just driving it like my old Lexus convertible. When I upgraded...
Since the sump guard doesn't have a hole to get to the recovery point, I noticed that you have a couple others poking through the bumper. What was the thinking there? Why not just keep open the access to the original recovery point?
Probably won't be needing that here in Arizona where is was 98 degrees warmer than there yesterday. If anything I'd like to do a cooled wheel and seats mod for when it's 110 in the summer.

I run the Zeons now which are great. Most of the trails in CA, AZ, UT, CO are all pretty dry. Even the wet sections aren't sticky mud usually. But I love the SST's. If I was more into the mud I would definitely get them, but would make sure I kept the rod mod on all the time. Right now I just...
I have the Cooper Zeon LTZ's in 285/60/18 and have had the unfortunate experience of a suspension failure while in rock crawl mode out on the trail (compressor just overheated - fine again after it cooled down). I thankfully could still drive to a flatter spot. I would say that this size is the...
