Like you I have had three Rovers and I've never heard those noises coming from the AC. Definitely a "degradation" in process. #1 sounds like a fan issue..rubbing or obstruction. #2 sounds like some sort of baffle attempting to open or close (or demonic possession). #3 is back to the fan. Maybe... -

Yes. 'Low Range' became an option in 2014 by including in the 'HD Package' along with rear locker and full size spare wheel/tire. Then I think they went back to including 2spd trans case in the 2017 D5 (maybe HSE and above), with the locker and full spare as optional. Go figure. -

So did the "factory Warranty". The $44k wasn't bad...could be more if for a 'Certified' one. Yes, a bit fishy. But then again here in S.CA no surprise if it's- "what I really want is one of those new Defenders, they look really cool". Meantime seeing what he can get while he waits. -

Well there appears to be one w only 25K miles. Description says HD package and the pic of the inst. cluster seems to confirm that. The Carfax report seems to confirm the sellers story about the ownership. Could be a lone wolf dealer try to turn a quick buck, but EVEN I think the price is nuts... -

2016 Landmark HD pkg here. I agree w the others, and IMHO it's actually a completely 'different' beast in terms of capabilities. Sounds like you've already found yourself wishing you had it, and if you do want to take on more "difficult challenges", then give your brakes and your nerves a break... -

Headliners.... why are they always beige or a version of boring?
2016 'Landmark'- 'Ebony Windsor' (black seats, I'm sure of that), with 'Light Oyster Morzine' (LMAO) headliner, whatever TF that is? It looks light grey/off-white not beige to me, but my wife says I'm color blind...probably true. Black lacquer veneer/trim. Overall I'm happy with it. -

IID or other suspension tool to aid - Seattle area
I'm happy with mine. Also pleased with the good tech support from GAP. Btw, I purchased mine from Lucky8 during their Black Friday sale for $428. It's back up to over $500, but seems like there may be room to move on that if you ask. Some on here have said mentioning this forum helps. Worth a shot. -

IID or other suspension tool to aid - Seattle area
The GAP Diagnostic BT IID tool that I purchased last month (and I think that most have) is locked to one vehicle VIN# at a time. It can be moved around, but I think it's a pain. GAP does offer a 'Pro' version that is not, but it costs thousands $. Meant for indy mechanics I guess. Good luck and... -

Ouch! Sounds, (and looks) like a complicated and potentially very expensive undertaking. Not just the seats, but side panels, headliner...and then there's the little matter of 'compliant' seat belts! The stock are mechanically retractable and mounted to the roof posts under the vertical panels... -

Here you go. It's a 12' though with only 19K miles! EXTREMELY rare, but the seller knows that and has priced it as such $49K. May seem crazy, but it's indicative of the market for our LR4's. Don't see a full size spare, so not sure if it's a 'locker'... -

Disregarding the decorative snorkel, I think the real concern in the case of this rig is shopping carts?- it can be a veritable 'jungle' in the parking lot at 'Whole Foods Market'...right? LOL. Seriously, that is one 'clean' 16 Silver Edition. Heck w duplicating the set up, make an offer on it! -

Yeah, I was just referring to the finish. That is the wheel style that came on the 20" Black Pack. It's not gloss black, but IMHO it looks better!! Good luck tracking it down. You might try some of the shops around that specialize in powder coating wheels. Not that they need refinishing, but... -

What you have there doesn't look 'stock'. I think the OEM finish for those wheels was either 'gloss black' w the 'black pack' or 'Diamond turned' w gloss back' like my 16' Landmark has. What you have appears more like the 'Satin Dark Grey' that LR is still doing on a 21" wheel style. Doubtful LR...
