I think 240 miles is a long way for an oil change, but you might need to take it in to keep the LR3 within warranty. -

Look on the back of the wheel. You should see something like "18 x8j" 18'' diameter by 8'' wide. -

Extended Warranty
I paid for mine over the internet, no inspection. The next day I received an email saying my lr3 was covered at all Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealer in the US. A week later I receive the contract in the mail, good at any lincensed repair facility. -
Another tire question, 275/60/18
Brian, I would reconsider the Coopers. The rubbing is minor and the price is cheaper than the Yokohama. I paid $161 apiece at Americas Tire. -Pic -

Cooper Zeon LTZ on LR3
Update I was looking at the LR3 over the weekend and I noticed two spots where the tires rubbed. One was Left Front tire rubbed some wires that run across the wheel well. Second was Right Rear rubbing at the 3 o'clock position. Both spots, the rubbing was very mild. -

Questions for experienced beach drivers
Could the type of tires make a bigger difference? For instance, the stock Good Years versus Cooper Zeons. I was able to drive through deep sand up an incline without airing down the tires on Zeon Ltz. -

South Coyote Canyon Trail in Anza Borrego
