Extended Warranties
Not a bad direction to take since you don't plan on driving it much but note with 55k, you'll most likely replace front and rear differentials, compressor for suspension, and front/rear bushings- will cost a few $$$ easily. As for the GYs, consider replacing them soon for your own peace of mind...- goinsurfin

I think my jeans are bleeding on my leather seats...
Been using Lexol cleaner+conditioner combo for over 4 years now and I find the cleaner is actually "removing" the tan color on the leather- esp. in crease areas along the seat sides. When using the cleaner, I'm in no way rubbing hard on the seat to pull dirt out of the leather. At this point...- goinsurfin

I would contact Pirelli directly and discuss the pre-wear issue with them. I am on my second set of ATRs and they are absolutely great! Ended up with over 47k on the first set. To expect long life on these tires, it is critical to keep air pressure accurate AND rotate every 5k for even wear...- goinsurfin

How I got "real" mud flaps
[attach]2521[/atta That looks great! I did the same thing but mounted 110 mud flaps last year. I cut the metal bracket off and used 4 bolts to mount each flap- easily removed if necessary. See my page for additional photos. Nice job!- goinsurfin

Installed my 2nd set of ATRs + alignment yesterday...Loving them all over! Before the new tires/alignment done, I had noticeable pull to the right. After install/alignment, now it pulls slightly to the left... I'll have the dealer look at it again to ensure it rides perfectly straight- on...- goinsurfin

FYI, I just received an update from TR that 19" ATRs will be in stock next week- which means I'll get my set next week too... I got about 50k out of the current set with even wear....I'm very happy with the overall- quality build, quiet ride since new, and clean-even wear..- goinsurfin

Looking for 75k service advice
So this whining sound that everyone is talking about- is this also the same sound I hear when at a stop i slowly press the accelerator and let go- I here what sounds like a gear not grinding, but rotating freely in the transmission? I can feel the vibration a bit too. I cannot say I've heard...- goinsurfin

Anyone around Tampa, FL?
Miami here and have toured Big Cypress several times. Its ok- I prefer minimal mud which is sometimes hard to get around in there.. I've heard the Ocala area has some areas to ride or best head up to GA or the Carolinas... Alafia and Boyette parks are close near Tampa- great places for MTN...- goinsurfin

Try REI.com, rackattack.com, or any local bike shop that carries either Yakima or Thule hitch mounts. The hitch you can buy on CL used or at the dealer. Where are you located? A guy in Plantation FL has a hitch for $300 on CL.- goinsurfin

I have ESP and to date, my truck is always serviced at the LR dealer- they take care of everything. There is no need to visit a Ford store for the ESP warranty.- goinsurfin
