Price looks good if there is no major damage. There is a guy in the UK that has 440k miles on his lr3 so these vehicles have a lot in them. Extended warranty is suggested. I have an 07 HSE and I did not get a tow hitch. Didn't come on my 05 SE either. For some reason the compass doesnt work on 4x4 mode. Software thing? Only works in off road nav- joecool509

I just bought one. They are adding the ability to reset the service minder as well. I look at it this way... Service minder reset tool - 90$ from blackbox solutions Johnson rods - 135$ For another 150$ I can diagnose and perform some adjustments to the computer and it is all in one unit...- joecool509

Do you rotate your tires?
I do front to back same Side only. Crossing over is more if you are hard in the corners. People usually make hard right turns which wears the left front more than the right. I don't drive my rover like a sports car. Also I find it easier at the house doing it same side.- joecool509

Yeah that is a good price. Sears in my town did a mount and balance for that price. Great Tires for dirt and mud. not so much for snow.- joecool509

Trailer Hauling Questions
Even for that size tire that seems low. I am running 31" tires and with towing a 2000# military trailer which is shaped like a brick I still get 14. You may want to check you air pressure. Extended Warranties
Just pulled the trigger on a 4yr 48K for my 07 HSE. It has 39K miles (40K is the breakover point for cost) With a 200$ deductible it was 2250$. This is through Zeigler Ford ESP. Very helpful but very busy so don't give up if you cannot get ahold of the warranty person.- joecool509

I am the same place you are at 37500 with only 1 month to go on my 07. I am going to pull the trigger next month. The women is very helpful and said the price goes up after 40K. I am going with a 4yr 60K for 2500. This was a quote I got in April. Haven't heard any complaints with these guys yet...- joecool509

Powder Coat or Spray Paint
I used 4 light coats of etching primer after 300 grit sanding then 4 coats of flat followed by 4 coats OD uv clear coat. Lasted through the winter. I used rustoleum. Turned out quite well for 30$. They wanted $250 here to powder coat.- joecool509

Finally spoke with Dana at Zeigler. 2400 for an out of warranty for a 4year 60k. Cheaper to get an out of warranty but the price goes up when I get past 40k. DIY Brake & Rotors

2008 LR3 hatch will not open
You can determine if it is the rear handle or the cable by trying to open it using the lock/unlock on the center console. Hold them both down for 15 sec and have some one else try to open it. Question for those with a rodmod lift
Just remember that an inch taller tire only needs .5" of wheel well room. The other half lifts the truck. I run zeon LTZ 285-60/18 and have a tire diameter of 31.46 and could not go any larger without a lift kit. It rubs on full left turn in reverse.
