    Opinions on LR3 Wheel Alignment frequency

    Only the dealer or someone one with a fault mate can do an alignment as the vehicle has to put in a special mode as I understand it. I have never had mine aligned and have seen no where near that wear. Driving styles and road construction could play a part.

    I built mine for 130$. 50$ for tank 55$ for regulator 15$ for Hose 10$ for Fill You can have them refilled at some welding supply places. OxArc in Central WA fills for 9$. I also use it for air tools on and off road. Instead of waiting for my air compressor to fill if it is a quick repair.

    I haven't done, but I use a regulator with a standard tool hose. Fixed at 150# output. If you got an adjustable, you could push it up to the 215#. It would just have to be adapted to the plastic connection that enters the tank. Maybe a tee add a tee with quick disconnect? Just thinking. I...

    Co2 bottle I carry a co2 bottle. 2.5# is nice and small. It has a couple thousand pounds. This should be able to be adapted to the LR3 tank if needed in a pinch.

    If there any on the ground, I will use it as it limits acceleration rates and if there is any ice under there it should help, especially on hills. Also limits slipage around corners as it looks at steering direction and vehicle movement.:albertein

    Thx. I did drop the time down. Using a delay timer was only 16$ and was a little easier to wire up. It will split out when the car is off. 6 of one. Works like a charm. Now its time for the fridge!! Getting ready for the land rover rally in Breckinridge.

    I spoke with LR yesturday and one thing to watch for is what labor rate the insurance pays. if it is less than the labor rate that is billed that you may be stuck with the difference. :eek:

    8 quarts of synthetic oil should last 15k. I change mine once a year before the cold season to get any moisture out. 35$ if you buy mobile 1 at Wally world.

    If the green fog lamp indicator doesn't come on then it is probably a fuse. I had a wire in the driving side fog lamp rub and short out. It was just behind the light when you remove it. A little electrical tape and I was back in business. Hope this helps.
