Good luck with the install!
Had a question for you about towing the 4. I recently broke down in Asheville NC on a road trip from Raleigh to Pisgah National Forest and after going to a few mechanics there I made the decision to have her trailered home because I needed to be back in S.FL and...
I'm pretty happy with the Sears DieHard agm battery, but check out the post "H7-H8 conversion." I think I might go that way when this thing Dies Hard;)
I just changed my keyfob battery yesterday to see if it would make a difference, but I too get the "Smart Key Not Found" more often than I'd like in my '11. I'd love to get a remote starter but I don't want another key fob to carry around.
I have a 3 yr old, so I'm a little far out from thinking about him driving, but for those of you who have 15yr olds and over I highly recommend signing them up for Tire Rack's Street Survival School. I'm a volunteer instructor, so please don't think I'm trying to get you to buy anything that...
@TheDave So I too have the same symptoms as you did, unfortunately it was up in Asheville NC driving from Raleigh to Pisgah National Forest. Currently waiting for a flat bed to arrive in the next 30 min down here in Miami:( Mechanic up there called Autologic, the company that supplies the...
I notice when a couple people get in the car it makes a little adjustment. Pay attention after you get out of the car with the engine off, it may lower a bit depending upon the weight change.
I think most LR4 and Landie owners appreciate G Wagons and have thought that they would make a great addition to their garages. If they don't, then they don't have to read what you write;)
My Landie indy, who has since closed his shop:( told me that if you put a stiffer bushing then the factory chose that it could cause more wear on other parts in the suspension that might not have been built/chosen to handle. I thought that made sense and also wanted to keep the ride quality so...
I would call PIAA directly.
If I were to have to replace my spot lights (I have your car's twin) I would want a light set up that fit over the original footprint so that there would be no remnants of the original installation.
I've looked for clear plastic lenses that fit over the lamps...

@kellybarrie Oh wow, that's great to hear that it gets that hot! Your model appears to be the 7 gal one. Just checked and there are 4,7,& 10 gallon models. Are you happy with that size?
No, they aren't messing with your truck;) It's better to put it in off-road mode so that the computer isn't adjusting the height while the truck is being lifted. Also, there is more room to work.
I also have an 2011 LUX with partial leather and the driver's side window sill is also peeling away. I started a separate thread about it because I wanted to just buy that part and you unfortunately have to buy the entire door panel to change out. I don't believe it's just from wear, I think...
Oh wow, great to hear you got it covered on the warranty.
Do you know how much the cost would have been?
Has anyone else reported a failed diff motor after less than 60K miles?
Good Luck
[QUOTE="Kelly Barrie, post: 186035, member: 33693"HSE with HD package front and rear lockers, bought it last year with 32k on it.
Did you mean to say rear and center diff lockers that the Heavy Duty comes with or did the previous owner install an aftermarket front locker?
I love the truck too:)
I have the same 20" tires and rims as Kelly Barrie and I find them to be quite quiet and comfortable on and off road.
How do you like that roof top shower? Does the sun warm up the water well?
