No braking problems to report. I think the only brakes and rotors I've ever had to replace was on a 2004 expedition at 6 years old a 110k miles. They were worn to the nubbins. It cost me right at $700 for all new pads, rotors and labor. Most of my vehicles get sold or traded off within 3 or 4... -

But you can play music from your phone through the USB connection, correct? Fwiw, interrupting Bluetooth audio streaming while plugged in is ridiculous. I have yet to have that issue from a domestic infotainment system. But as long as you can play music via USB that makes up for it. -

I want a 2013 model and I'll get a certified pre-owned, which come with a 100k mile warranty but I think I'll buy some kind of service plan after I find out exactly what that pre-owned warranty covers. IF I have to buy some kind of coverage, it sounds like it's going to more than pay for itself. -

Yep, if you paid cash, then you don't need GAP insurance. It's real only good if you finance all or most of the purchase price. Just get the best car insurance coverage that you can find. Or put a GPS tracking device in your LR4 so it can be tracked if it gets stolen. If you're on it fast... -
