19” Wheels for winter?
Only the base model SE comes with 19" wheels. The smallest diameter wheels on the HSE and higher are 20". If the SE has Brembo brakes then a set of OEM 19s would be your best bet for snow tires.- ar077

Winter is here. Floor Mats?
Roger that. I passed on the third row when ordering my D5 and only use the cargo area extension mat when laying down the center row for extended periods, such as long trips or camping out. Otherwise it's on a shelf in the garage. -

The new Discovery modulates the driver's generated brake pressure to the inside wheels to maintain stability when braking in corners. If you're OK with a gasoline engine then it's a toss-up but I'd still opt for the discovery because you get more inside cargo space behind the second row. This is a little odd to me.
One more thing. If the pads haven't worn down to the metal so that they were grinding into the discs then why do the discs need to be replaced? Replacing the pads should be enough. It's utterly bizarre that the entire rear brake system needs to be replaced at 12K km. Get an answer from the...- ar077

You mean road noise, right? The Nittos had a very minor road hum at first but I hardly notice it now (the Goodyear Eagles were dead silent). A small price to pay for having tires that give me the off road capability that I bought the vehicle for in the first place.- ar077

So here is why after owning (4) Land Rovers I don't think I will ever own one again.
Since you don't rag on about the back hatch, the roof, and the seat, I assume those problems were fixed. Why does your car have to be your god damned phone? I've never connected my phone to my D5 because I don't talk on the phone while driving. Those who do are not giving their full attention...- ar077

Thanks for commenting! The fact that it resembles other SUVs that cost less than half as much doesn't bother me.
