Ugh. Checked out this thread to look for some LR4's in action, and hit two pages of adults acting like 2 year olds. More LR4 pics please....

Yes, there is a rebuild kit, and it comes from Land Rover. The information and part number are posted here on this site. I have the link saved at home, but currently out of town. If you search, you can find it, or I will update this post in a few days when I get back home.

    HELP! power window problem

You can take off the opposite door panel to view the proper configuration. Also, the root cause (window goes down, but not up) may be a faulty window switch.

    2005 have TPMS?

Direct TPMS monitoring was mandated for all US vehicles effective 2007, so for sure 2007+ will have it. Interesting that we have conflicting reports here for 2005 and 2006 vehicles.

    2005 have TPMS?

My 2005 HSE definitely does not have TPMS. 2006 LR3's do have it. Maybe it was introduced late in the 2005 model year?

Thanks for the link, that is brilliant! Will definitely try a repair kit if/when the next compressor issues arise.

Opinions on the rising cost of gas...

It is a thirsty beast. I don't think about it too much now, after going through this a few years ago.

    Rear wiper

I had the same "sticking" issue last year and applied WD-30 spray on the wiper arm, in the pivot location. That solved it.

    OEM rubber floor mats

The OEM accessory rubber floor mats are very effective and durable. 6 winters, and still look good in our LR3.

    2010 LR4 - My First Warranty Repair – 4400 Miles

Auto-leveling of the EAS (Electronic Air Suspension) after parking is totally normal, and should be expected. Just beware, as it may "adjust" while you have a door open and are trying to remove cargo!

Just got rejected for VA inspection for Lights and Brakes

We have the same law in PA, and I have no problem with inspection. If you have them wired using the OEM harness, then they will only operate in conjunction with the high beams, and are legal. If you wired them separately, then you could have an issue with inspection. LR does make covers for...

    Need 06 LR3 Fog Lights

Here is a posting and guide from someone who did a fog light install on their 2006. It includes part numbers and detailed instructions. http://forums.landroverworld.org/showthread.php?t=16622 Probably best done by someone experienced with working on their own vehicles and taking them apart.

Just got rejected for VA inspection for Lights and Brakes

+1 If these are wired with the OEM harness and switch, then the only operate with the high beams, and are legal. If not, then you can just get a set of covers for them and get re-inspected. Are your inspections done by the state or by independent shops in VA? Nice setup on your LR3, I...

Rear bike rack - no hitch

I tried one of the rear mounted (non-hitch) bike racks. Got a quality one from REI. After one use, it was obviously not up to the task. So I immediately returned it and got the LR hitch and LR branded Thule swing-away carrier. The OEM accessory bike hitch is great. Very heavy duty, and...

    Difference between 05/06/07?

The lumbar adjustment knob potentially interfered with airbag deployment. Also, the 2005 did not have the rubber mat in the area of the Navi screen, front cupholder inserts were redesigned in 2006, and 2005 had windshield clips on both sides to hold parking stubs. Factory bluetooth (Land...

    Difference between 05/06/07?

There is very little difference between the '05 and '06 model years. You should concentrate on mileage, overall condition, and installed options to differentiate between vehicles. There is no additional concern specifically regarding 2005 LR3s. All issues were addressed, and parts replaced...
