As you look at engine from the front, their is a cover in back left side of the engine bay, right in front of where the passenger sits. If I recall, their are 3 plastic clips that you can move with you fingers and the whole lid will pop out. Then you will see the battery and a long black box... -

My HVAC issue was also resolved with a relay from LR ($6) - it is the 40 amp white strip relay next to the battery box. It runs the front fan. About a 5 minute repair and fan works as normal now. Side note - I took the old relay apart, and the contacts were pitted and white from the arcing... -
