Front main seal replacement V8?
Just rolled over 200k miles on the rover and has developed a leak at the front of the motor. I think it's the front main seal. Air Jack Exhaust Bung / Jack Adaptor
I've got one from a different source and haven't had any issues. It's not ment to be left in, you only use it to fill the jack then take it out. Thats done with the engine just at idle. -
Recovery Points?
Yeah its pretty nice but I can only imagine that the tounge load rating on that has to be a lot less than the factory hitch since it's much farther from the moment than the factory hitch. -
LR3 90k dealer visit
For warranty, check your sunroof rails for cracks and also if your gas struts aren't lifting the tailgate like they use to get them to replace those. For your non-warranty items. I'd say do the filters your self and buy them online the pollen filter is pretty expensive from the dealer. takes... -
Recovery Points?
I'd recommend using the recovery point behind the cover on the rear instead of the hitch/shackle adapter. First reason being the hitch hangs down so low and at an akward angle that its pretty prone to getting hung up on stuff. Second reason being for safety, what are the load ratings on... -
Glazing Axles..
maybe but his dealership did recommend him to get his axles "glazed" sounds like the sort who would recommend someone needing a new muffler bearing ;-) -

The LR3 doesn't have brake drums. They have a drum inside the rear brake disc for the e-brake. This sounds more like the dreaded sticking of the EPB (electronic parking brake). I doubt that it was out of round, my bet is your epb was sticking and when they resurfaced the drum part, it took away... -
Cruise Control not permitted
I think I've read somewhere that if you have a tail light/brake light burnt out it won't let you use cruise control. Not a 100% on that but its worth a quick look. -

you do see the little orange band as pull the green lever then turn right? Heres a picture of it fully unlocked and the 2nd and of the pins position. What color is the mini? Yeah its a fun little car, I know quite a few guys with honda motors up front. -

The bumpers look horrid in my opinion, the rear looks like a 2x6 and the fron looks like a tug boat bow. Here's some more photos. http://www.aluminess.com/Land-rover.htm I do like the swing away box. It would be great for muddy recovery gear. Like the rack too. -
