Dead Disco
Check your batt. The ECU needs 13.6 minimum to run the car. With Rovers you dont get partial or dim power, its all or nothing. The brake lock is electronic. Also your back brakes are probably low if your e brake isnt working.- Philly1time

Best head gasket kit ?
I ordered the set from B.A. (Sorry Joey) Mike, yea already did tstat, new radiator, heater core, hoses, got the wires, water pump, new brakes, struts. After all this its going for sale. I have a Disco II that will be my back up truck. Im purchasing a New RR SC :) Thanks for the input guys.- Philly1time

DII overheating part 2
I'd Fix the original engine. I was in your same situation with one of my rovers. Its worth nothing broken, since there are so many rovers lying around with blown motors. You might be over book value with all the work, but who cares I'd rather have a $8,000 running car than a $4,000 paperweight...- Philly1time

heres a pic As you can see its just a standard allen wrench. If you have 4 holes in your radio you will need a u shaped tool. Bent metal close hanger will work, or you can buy the official tool on crutchfield.- Philly1time

Series II parking lights ? Headlight swap
Hello everyone. Recently bought a 00 Disco II and noticed my amber corner lights (next to the headlight) only blink with the turn signal. Is this normal ? My 99 Disco I is the same way. Kinda suprising there are no parking lights. I'm also looking into a 03 04 Headlight conversion, anyone...- Philly1time
