Yeah, I’ve experienced noise from failing bearings in a number of vehicles. Not this time. There was excessive play at the tread/wheel perimeter with the rear end on a lift. Also replaced the rear suspension wear bits while we were in there.
Agreed with above. I chased this on an off for the better part of a year....right after I switched to a new tire. It drove me nuts to the point that I swapped wheels/tires and had the issue immediately/still. Traced it to a bad rear wheel bearing. Replaced both side$ - 230K miles on a 2007 HSE
Apparently peppermint oil does the trick.
My mother parks her '05 outside, near Sacramento, and has had the chewed harness issue. Her mechanic suggested soaking cotton balls in peppermint oil, wrapping those loosely in aluminum foil and placing them in the engine compartment.

Abu idea as to your charging system and battery status?
I mention this because LR3s are notorious for throwing fits and spewing hatred when there's a parasitic electrical load and a poor charging system or battery.
Make sure you're using the correct bulb and that it's installed correctly. Wrong bulb or wrong installation can/will cause repeated problems.
You can clean the contacts off, in the bulb socket, with some vinegar on a cotton swab. Then use some dielectric grease.
I went through the same BS and...
Hi all.....I'm stumped.
Front AC blower, the one under and in front of the glove compartments has stopped working.
Iv'e just replaced the blower with a new unit from Atlantic British.
The AC/Heater control panel will activate the rear blower just fine.
All fuses are intact, all relays appear to...
Agree with the air bubble issue... I ended up replacing a broken T-connector in the cooling system and repacking some coolant. Had an immediate overheating situation- caused by an air bubble. My solution was to over-pressurize the coolant reservoir with a compressed air line and then release...
What condition are your tires in?
Are they all the same tread depth?
I suspect, as others have mentioned, that the ABS pulsing is the grinding noise. You'll hear this noise when the DSC fires or the HDC is on. I'd check every part of the suspension and drive train from the tires up.

Not certain of the LR part number- it's either DYC 500020 or DZM 000070
Have you checked the wires under the passenger side foot well....under the carpeting?
This is a common place for shorts to happen and for water leakage to compound the problem.
Buy a decent code reader, an ARB flat repair kit and a few spare partst:
-Serpentine belt
-Brake light switch
-the stupid T-shape coolant coupler/vent part that cracks and breaks
-spare headlight bulbs
I've done many 4K+ mile trips in my 07 that now has 165k miles on it.
The code reader is...
