Newbie looking for advice!
Hi all! Enjoying my new-to-me '08 LR3. First vehicle with navigation, so I'm just getting used to that. I must be the last person in the US who didn't know the maps need to be manually updated. Who has done this? Is it easy to do yourself? BTW I'm not a technical guy... thanks for your help!- CTDAD

dvd for nav update Ok -- newb here. I also had this question & was told that you load dvd to laptop and then connect via usb... Also - I don't know what dealer is charging for update, but navteq has it for $200 @ www.updateyourmap.com. I just ordered, so haven't received it yet to load... -

loading dvd Hey - newb as an official forum member, I can answer #1 as I had the same question upon receiving mine for 07 lr3. If you put the dvd in your computer, just connect the computer to the usb drive (I agree with you). I don't know where you found your update or what it cost, but...
