Are you saying that a marginal battery could actually cause these symptoms? I'm not discounting you as you obviously have more experience with these trucks than I do but I've never heard of a weak battery causing something like that to happen in any other vehicle I've owned! I'll ask the... -

Well...following on from my other thread, we picked up our '09 LR3 from the dealer on Wednesday evening after they replaced the O2 sensor....apparently that wasn't it! I was driving up a large hill near our house and got the flashing CEL and reduced engine power message AGAIN. I shut it off... -

Thanks for all the replies! The official diagnosis from the dealer is a bad O2 sensor...it's been replaced and we'll be picking the truck up this afternoon. An O2 sensor makes sense given the symptoms but I don't think I've ever heard of an O2 sensor giving up the ghost that early on any... -

dantheman1...wow that was a quick reply! What you indicate makes sense but the '08 LR3 with the perforated leather also has the straight grained walnut wood trim as does the '09 with the smoother, nicer-looking leather. I wonder if it's a difference between the U.S. and Canadian market... -
