The differential gearing is a different ratio between LR3 and LR4. Even if everything works, you'll have to replace the front diff, too, then hope that doesn't make any other computer stuff go all screwy.
The center valve block has been sold. Everything else remains.
Had to get a new ball bearing to rebuild the trailer hitch receiver, but did not get time to finish that job before I had to leave town for a week. Will post pictures of that when it is done.
Not to keep pimping my for sale thread, but I just found some more stuff. Center air suspension valve block, rear tailgate actuator and moisture shield, rear brake pads.
All prices are negotiable (within reason).
Had to create a new "for sale" thread as the old one was getting disorganized and the initial post was too old for me to edit.

I keep finding more and more...
Regarding the transmission kit, it's for the 6HP ZF transmission (used in the 2010 to 2013 LR4s and other Land Rovers). Not sure if it works for later transmissions. You'll have to contact Atlantic British to find out.
It was this kit:

I have several parts and accessories still for sale. These are all parts I bought for my LR4 and wound up never getting around to installing, or never needed to install because whatever problem I had wound up being something else (and just kept the part thinking I'd need it one day). In other...
Just at the dealer's network. But it's the Hendrick dealership network, which I guess has locations all over.

Not holding my breath that this is really that great. But who knows.
This wasn't any factor in me deciding to put my...
I opened my Atlantic British rebuild kit (never used it; I've got it for sale in the sales section) and the standard gasket was ripped from the factory. That's all I needed to order the Lubelocker gasket... which I also wound up never using and is included in the sale.
I was 80% sure I was going to get a Defender a few months ago, but then the Land Cruisers started popping up on the Youtube car review sites and I started liking them more than the Defender.
That, and there are a few other things that put me off of the Defender.
First, is how big of a PITA it...
The one thing about the Land Cruiser is that I can probably just buy it, drive it for a year, then sell it for not much loss (if any at all) if I decide it's not for me.
One of the local dealers I reached out to a month or two ago (and who told me they were sold out) hit me up again last week...
Not 100% the Land Cruiser is the way I'm going. I've got a deposit on one but it has yet to arrive (will probably be here within the next week).
If not a Land Cruiser, then maybe a Defender? Not sure.
Right now, though, I am vehicleless.
Loaded the LR4 on the carrier's trailer this morning. Off to New York State it goes.
Bought it on January 16, 2016, and it's been a great 8.5 years since. Never let me down. Contrary to Rover folklore, this is the only time I've ever seen it on a trailer.
Looking back on my post history...
That stinks. Seems like the enshitification of things knows no bounds.
In that case, if I were in the market right now, I'd go with OE units from on of the UK-based suppliers.
The Arnott complaints are dated. I believe Arnott formerly sold rebuilt units that had quality problems. I've been running them in my LR4 for years without problem.
Edit to say that I've been running their new units for years, not the old rebuilt ones they used to sell.
Yeah. Every Toyota they sell comes with a lifetime drivetrain warranty for the original owner. My guess is they figure most people don't own a car much longer than 5 to 6 years, and if anyone does, it's a Toyota they're putting the warranty on.
