    Reliability

We are at 4 year and about 38,000 miles with our 2016 So far all warranty work. 2 stop/start batteries lower control arm bushing lean condition codes - I think it was fuel pump, have to heck the paperwork. Besides that general maintenance brakes, tires, oil, etc.

    Leather Cleaner ?

I've been happy with the chemical guys cleaner and conditioner. Get a leather cleaning brush also, they work great. https://www.chemicalguys.com/leather-cleaner-and-conditioner-complete-leather-care-kit/SPI_109_16.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIj6r7tpf85wIVyp6zCh1kFgP8EAQYASABEgL-jPD_BwE

    Another Defender hint?

That white one is gonna look great at the mall next to a wrangler with every accessory on it.

    Rip on my door leather

It does look rolled like Mike above said, so the piece may all still be there. I think there are adhesives for leather. I'd get some shoe polish that matches the color. Hit the area with the shoe polish then heat it up a little and try to work the piece back in place then use adhesive to hold...

    ‘14-16 LR4 Transmission Software Reflash??

Not sure, but maybe the weight difference in those compared to the LR4 factors in on both feel when driving and how the transmission was programmed.

All Weather or Snow Tires ?

"All weather" is a recently created tire category, not just used by Nokian. Basically all season with the addition of the snow rating. The wr g3 gets great reviews for year round use and I am very happy with our current set. So far wear seems fine and winter performance has been great. I'd...

All Weather or Snow Tires ?

We run the WR G3's year round in the mid-atlantic region. We see less snow but probably a similar mix of crappy conditions and they perform well. Can you still find G3's or have they been replaced by the G4's which have a totally different tread pattern?

    Another Defender hint?

Make it a manual transmission and I'm sold.

100,000+ miles. Out of warranty. Time to trade?

What would you replace it with? That would factor into my decision.

    Another Defender hint?

The 4.10 gears won't hurt either.

    Another Defender hint?

Ah, so it seems like an option. It looks so much better without it.

    Another Defender hint?

I was really hoping the Defender 90 would be something of interest for my next vehicle, but I don't think I can get over the stupid giant fake pillar. I just don't understand purposely making a blindspot and giving back seat passengers no view. My kids would hate riding back there. Luckily we...

    Another Defender hint?

Anyone have an idea when 90 pricing will be on the site? Is the 110 coming first to NA and 90 later?

    Another Defender hint?

I'm guessing there's no chance of getting a base 90 with cloth interior, manual transmission and steel rims in NA.

Camshaft sensor, timing belt or new engine? 2015 LR4 75K

I would definitely find a land rover specific indy shop. If they are saying timing belt go pick it up right away.

All the battery posts got me scared ....

OK, thanks. Looks like I'll tempt fate a little longer and watch for any signs.

All the battery posts got me scared ....

So our LR4 just turned 3 and we are still on the factory battery. Should I be proactive and replace it? The wife usually drives it to work so I would hate for her to get stranded. Im thinking I'll check Costco for an Interstate and at least have a new one sitting ready to go. I also don't...

2012 LR4 advice for a repair shop in NY 2 hours N. of the city.. (Near Red Hook/Rhinebeck)

I'd call these guys and ask some questions about how much Land Rover service they do currently. https://foreigncarspecialistsny.com/ They seem to have stellar reviews. I use an indy euro specialized shop and have been very happy in service and lower cost.

    ECO Auto Start/Stop Not Available

I hated it at first but almost 3 years later now I don't really pay any attention to it. I think I have just altered my driving to make it less annoying.

Has anyone reflashed their 3.0SC V6 aka Tune?

Fuji4, thanks for the update. Sounds like great improvements. It's definitely a change i'm interested in when I get closer to warranty ending.

Is the LR4 good for daily highway travel?

If you do a lot a miles a year increase your expected yearly maint costs for oli changes, brakes and tires. It takes a lot of expensive oil per change and the heavy weight means brakes/tires tend to wear faster. Rear brakes will go first. The CPO you drove should have had the rears done by...

    Michilin, Goodyear or Nokian? (19")

We went the same route for our weather in Philly. Seems like the perfect choice for the type of weather we get in the part of the country.

Has anyone reflashed their 3.0SC V6 aka Tune?

Great news. Which did you go with again? So it's pc based, does it datalog too? If so did they have you do a pull and log data and tuned using that data?
