Wow - I'm pretty shocked with your experience! We just passed 76k on our 2017 TD6 and I've calculated that about 50% of it has been towing our 25' FB International. Do I get blown around a little going through Kansas? Absolutely - but so do big rigs. Would a Trail Boss (or similar) be...- nhskibm

Yes, it's up by above the pedals. It's the same ford connector you used in your LR4 you just have to add the connector yourself (plug and play). If I have time later today I can try to grab a pic.- nhskibm

Back wheel height is the same regardless of frame size - and those bikes are 29ers. Biggest issue is your seat tube + dropper height but based on how much clearance I have in mine I think you'll be fine. Get a dropper post. We carried two MTBs (one a 29er) in the back with front wheels off for 11k miles towing our Airstream in the D5. In the LR4 I used to get 3 but can still get 2 in the D5. Ah, so this is interesting. Note this is the fourth note in this section. The first three are “red alert” warnings with the languagr of “never”. The WD comment is a caution and recommendation. To me this is “use at your own risk” and the risk is a blown suspension that warranty won’t cover...- nhskibm

We are not using a WD with sway control. Only WD. Sincerely (not internet tough guy style) would love you to run down the experience, etc. been using only vehicles with air suspension to tow for the past 4 years with WD (no sway). Tow option question
