Rotor wear advice
I’m not a big fan of ceramic brake pads as they are softer. Less dust but softer. The rotors have great specs if the machine work is as precise as they say I might bite. Do you feel it’s quality stuff? Will probably get OE pads or EBC green stuff to complement as they only carry ceramic pads. -

I gave maxbrakes a call as the LR4 is not listed on there website. Even there best slotted rotors are cheaper than OE rotors from British Atlantic. Which version did you buy for your LR? Thanks -

Got it. The rods are a replacement for the factory rods and to fill that gap the spacers are needed. Understood. Looking at the Johnson Rod site and gauging if the additional height and complications is worth the 2.5" gain. Thanks again for steering me in the right direction. -

Is a d5 a great deal right now?
My auto mechanic (whose a wizard on Land Rovers) said that the timing chain issue is 95% of the time an oil issue. Stated that keep synthetic oil in the LR4 and make sure to keep the oil at OK. He didn't even puss the change every 6000 miles story although that is good insurance. I'm betting... -

Interesting. Can you clarify for the uninitiated? I'm just now getting around to looking at the shop owners manual that runs almost 2000 pages, so I'm not completely familiar with changing out the air suspension. I will be soon tho.
