I didn’t like that ‘pause’ sound when you first started it but yeah, my 2011 with 185k sounded like that. -
Buying a used high mileage 2010 LR4
I just sold my 2011 with 185K for $7,000. Honestly he was the only call I had in over two weeks but tough to sell when you get near 200K miles - good luck with yours. -

For the record I have no concerns or issues with the diesel motor, have had several in my life previously so I’m a fan. it’s the normal Range Rover anxiety that has to do with the electronics quitting or not working, suspension faults, or other expensive items. Your experience about LR4 V8 5.0
My man said it best, it's powerful but somehow feels light. Other than the coolant pipes and the 'click-click-click' sound upon start-up sometimes she's been great. One of the best cars and engines I've ever had - 185,000 miles as of today. -

Mityvac...
Mityvac is the shit, the LR4 was made for it - must have changed the oil on over 50 different cars in my lifetime and the LR4 is the easiest by far with the oil filter up top and the fill oil has the tube for extraction right there as well. You guys are just to anal with your 'you cant get all... -
3K oil change intervals for our LR4s?

5.0 v8 timing chains
Almost 180k on mine and never done the timing chain or tensioners. I’ve heard them ‘clacking away’ upon start up but it’s always been intermittent. Good luck -

Yes, front lower control arms replaced, twice! All air suspension components are original and work correctly. I also had the plugs replaced 15K ago and it has LR roof racks and ladder as well. Thank you -- wthammett

Went to use hitch...surprise!
Well well I only need to put a bike carrier on it and I see these adapters on amazon for $75 unless you guys tell me those are complete trash, it's only one bike it needs to carry. -

After three years of ownership I take the tow hitch cover off as I need to put the bike rack on her as I'm dropping my kid off at college and I need to take her bike. Well wasn't I surprised when I removed the cover to find a big loop looking thing. That's it, no further discussion required
