Thanks again for the many ideas and thoughts about oil for the Land Rover engines. Changed the oil/filter last week using 5w20 Castrol from Walmart. -

H7 to H8 battery. Any known issues?
Many thanks to all replies to this issue. My battery is going on four plus years, and the dealer said maybe you might get five years out of them. No issues yet, but good information on changing to the H8 AMG in the future. Can the battery be changed out without having to reset the BMS? -

Oil Level Indicator - STUPID
Changing the oil and filter at half the recommended mileage seems like cheap insurance.- Richie04

Why is the "most capable 4x4" so fragile ?
That might make it something different, so it was not considered. Changing the bushings to poly. Many thanks to the question. Driving a Discovery II '04 and LR4 '16. -

Rotor wear advice
We just had a complete brake job done by an independent shop. They said the rotors still had about half wear left when they called to report on progress of job. I told them to just replace with new, as we don't like to worry about the three S's. ( Stop-Start-Steer ). It's good to read all the... -

I am just looking over the dealer work sheet. It shows a total of 2000 in rebates for a 2018 Discovery HSE diesel model. List was 72,332.00. Discussed new models coming, but best offer so far.
