Gas smell after driving. No error codes. No visible leaks.

Welcome! Appears that you found a very nice one! Looks great! Given the age, and probably the mileage, just make sure that the 'cooling system frailties' have been, or soon will be addressed! It can be sudden and mechanically fatal. Best of luck!- LB Bill

That's a shock that they might still be selling that old 'recalled' part design. Seems irresponsible and loaded with liability. Thanks for posting. Mine was done by the JLR dealer, and it seems all good. I didn't realize that the flange and filter are now separate parts. -

Same here. Over two years now with a dead stop/start battery. The working stop/start function annoys me way more than the warning light. No strange electrical probs as yet, or corrosion, but I should probably get it out of there. Or give in and replace it and go back to turning it off every time... -

2016 LR4 Original Owner. 75k. Thinking about selling, but not sure of alternative rides that can do everything this does.
P400 or the 4 banger? If a 400 at 700 lbs lighter, 395 HP and 400+ ft lbs. ; also at 6 secs 0-60...hate to say it but it probably would've been "Hasta La Vista, Baby". -

Was this color interior ever offered in the US?

PS- maybe consider just getting a new battery?...if you get so much as a 'low battery' warning or a sluggish start. When they go it can be a slow-rolling cascade of issues until it finally leaves you stranded. I'm a battery hog and mine died at three years from new. Might be best to just ease... -

Do durable side wall tires exist for the LR4?
"Too oversized" is key. Given what you are doing, you could find yourself in the middle of nowhere and unable to roll. 255-60-19 at 31" overall tire size is about max without 'fixed' suspension mods, for whatever wheel size. 30.5" is safe. Speed vs. off-road is apples and oranges. Suggest maybe... -

I would want to chase that leak down. Btw, on your original question...My 2016 only 23K on the ODO sounds pretty much like that. Having a repair reserve $'s is a good plan. Even on the SC v6 the cooling system...crossovers, water pump etc. is an achilles heal. -

Just saw the CARFAX. Not bad- one owner, ok miles, certainly dealer maintained. Should be able to drill down on all of that if need be.
