Okay replacing all four rotors and Pads with ebc Green Stuff parts, 2001 DII, I was able to get the front done with very few issues, i cannot get the rear rotors off. I had to drill out the set screw and there is nothing else blocking the rotor from coming off. Any Ideas for me??????? Also how important is that set screw???? Most brakes i have done do not have that and putting the wheel on usually keeps the rotor positioned correctly not to mention the caliper..... just wondering?????

Just did mine not too long ago. A tip to get the screws out:

Take a ballpen hammer and regular hammer. Place rounded end on screw and tap it a few times ... not too hard; needs a bit of force. The screws will come out. You will need these screws attached ... keeps the roter stable!!!!

To get the rotors off you may need to put the tires back on. Used a sledge hammer to strike the rubber and rotate the wheels after each strike. The roters are rusted onto the hubs and you need a bit of muscle to get them off. It is a tight fit to begin with. You may want to spray some WD-40 on the old rotors, front and back, or other rust losening product. It takes a bit of time ... but they will come off.

HTH ...

There's always the stealer ...... $730 CDN ....
