Front d/s brake sticking

So........for the past little while the d/s front Alloy has been filthy while the passenger one remains shiny and clean. I figured dragging brake obvs. Last pad change I explored and the wheel turns okay. Slider pins well lubricated. No uneven wear on anything. Still dragging.
Potential causes I gather include too much fluid in reservoir (not that), rubber brake hose degrading internally and fragments preventing pressure release (maybe, original hoses at 210k km?), master cylinder? (Not sure how to diagnose?), brake caliper piston stuck (maybe?).
Does anyone have any insight based on past experiences?

If slider pins are good, and only on one wheel, then more than likely a sticky caliper piston. I've had one stick on the rear of mine in the past. Bought an aftermarket aluminum caliper and saved 20 lbs

Should be pretty apparent if a piston is stuck when you pop that caliper off.

It retracted when I last changed pads, so not overtly siezed?

I seem to have the same problem on my LR3 - black dust on my left front wheel, all others good. All pads are ceramic.

I have had the sticking pins concern on the left front. For what it is worth, I just put new tyres on and the tire guys said I might have a front left wheel bearing concern upcoming, hence perhaps the next fuss. Even so, that however should not cause a black dust concern, hence I remain puzzled.

Huh, yes, killing the wheel bearing is a concern too. I had sticking pins on the rear. Resulted in crazy uneven pad wear but now remedied. Yes, i have ceramic pads too, so in theory should be less dirty

Was your caliper piston siezed, or just not as free sliding as it should be? Nothing overtly odd about the caliper piston per se I.e. retracts fine to put new pads on
