Depending on what you are going for; looks or functionality. I have been very please with my Coopers Zeon LTZs. They are an AT tire, but have very good road manners. Or you can go with the stock size, which look great on some shiny new wheels.

My main requirement is good dry and wet handling. A bonus would be making it easier to get down some grass/dirt roads when fishing/camping with the kids. An AT would work, but since I am leaning towards the 265/50/20, I have only seen the Nitto TG2 in that size. I asked about the Nokian zline SUV since it is a 3 season tire and won European awards, plus I am running Nokian winter tires now and like them. Looks lime that would meet my main requirements, but not sure about the bonus

Your video made me realize that getting in and out of my fishing spots in foul weather is actually a priority. I think an AT tire is what I need...thanks

In the 20 inch wheel size, there are fewer options but some good options if you want to balance on and off road performance.

I went with the 285/50/20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 and have been very happy with the performance on and offroad (and the meatier stance which is perfect on the LR4 IMO). As you already noted, they are also available in the 265/50/20 which will be closer to stock dimensions. The Cooper Zeons seem like another good option.

Yeah I have the green oval rods to adjust the height but run it in stock height all the time as it's my wife's DD. I needed a size that wouldn't rub at stock height. I didn't even use the rods that day, just normal off road height.

Keep in mind the traction control system on the LR4 is excellent. If all you are dealing with is the occasional muddy dirty road or grassy field, a standard all season tire would be adequate. AT tires can be picky if they are not properly cared for (rotation, PSI, alignment...), and can quickly deteriorate the ride quality.
I go out in the Maine woods maybe 10 times a year with the occasional LR event in between so the ATs, for me, were a no brainier. I also have a dedicated set of snow tires (which do great on the trails as well). This year has been pretty mild, but it's Maine so you never know what precipitation the day will bring.

I just picked four 20x9.5" wheels and I was wondering what tires other people are running 275/55R20 or 285/55R20

is anyone running without spacers? or are spacers a must

I have a 2014 LR4

I have Nokian Zline SUV 265-50-20 on my 9.5" wheels. Just switched out my winter set-up a little over a month ago, but so far I like the tires.
