wow, low mileage.

I am pretty sure it's not good for most any vehicle to be started up and then only driven that far every day. It doesn't allow the system to cycle through fluids and such. I'd walk too if I were you or get a scooter ;)

If you don't mind, I'd like to add my list. It's a great truck, don't get me wrong, but I'm just glad my dealer is less than 5 min. from my apt.
'05 V8 SE, 81k
1. Steering wheel replaced for peeling
2. Shifter loose (could spin it all the way around), replaced
3. passenger cupholder broke, replaced
4. Eventually, replaced every single speaker and the sub twice due to them being blown or rattling
5. replaced the amp
6. control arms replaced twice. Once at 60k, again at 75k. Turns out they put on the control arms for the springer version and not the air bagged Lr3 the first time.
7. Front AND rear diff replaced at 75k. Leak in the front, whining from the back.
8. Steering column replaced
9. Steering bushings replaced at 75k
10. entire steering rack replaced at 40k due to bump steer/knock and tsb
11. brake pad and rotors replaced twice, once at 30k, second at 65k
12. tires replaced only once
13. Radio head unit replaced, a button broke and wouldn't release
13. thermostat replaced at 60k
14. battery replaced at 45k
15. drivers side mirror replaced
Yup, think that's about it

I ride a bike or walk, yeah. It's definitely not good for the car, and (if nothing else) it works on the brakes to do a lot of in-town driving. I make a point to go see stuff on the days I do drive. The flip side is my gas bill is a lot lower than most Prius owners.

Interesting enough, I've never really heard anyone complaining about the Jag/LR3 engine. All the stuff we've had fixed, but no-one has mentioned anything about the engine conking out for most any reason. Mostly just suspension, brakes, rattles and small stuff (knock on wood).

They are the same part.....probably just an excuse given because they screwed up the bushings on the first install.

06, 32K miles (all under dealer warranty) and yes, I have the extended warranty
Sunshade latch
Sunroof Leak
Battery
Trans Computer
Rear Tires
Rear Bushings
Windshield, defroster grid open
Rear Latch, tailgate would not open
Right Tie Rod end
Steering Stops Lubed, they wont fix the steering knock
Hesitation after stop (software upate), still does it
Hood Letters, chipping
Left Rear Door Weatherstrip
EBC Pads (not warranty)

I have to revisit some of this on the next trip. I plan(ned) on keeping this for a good while. I simply cannot afford a new one. Not looking good though. But I keep buying stuff for it so go figure.

Hum...I am at 89K on my 05 and I have only had to replace the rear wiper motor. But just today I noticed my sunroof will not open. I haven't had time to check to see if it is the motor or the switch, but I know one thing. A dealer has NEVER touched mine. Not since day one. So does anyone think that the dealers could be the culprit? And as some of you have seen by my pictures, I haven't been easy on her either. So I have either been blessed with a great machine or the dealers ensure that it will return so they can fill their greedy pockets.

...did you try the re-calibration procedure in the manual?

My 07 here:
30k service
Brakes
Tires
Computer flashed (satellite radio issue)
Soon (next trip)
Fix loose panel around the tweeter on door
Fix a rear seat belt cover

And I love it more every time I take it in!
