Coolant pipe failure (SCV6)
Had a failure in the coolant system with no warning (no lights, temp spike, etc.). Just started smoking and shut it off. Looks like we might have dodged the worst case scenario as heads and block look tight on first inspection. Looks like the coolant outlet pipe failed and dumped everything... -

We’ve had our 3s and 4S for 15 years and 200k collective miles in CO and not one issue. There are hundreds of not more of them on the roads. How in the world did you ever even come across that language? -

I've had a lot of Nokian's across LR3 and LR4 for many years. The Hakka Rx (3 or 4 now, I can't remember) is the best pure winter tire, no need for studs, it has extraordinary grip in snow and ice. Allow me to chime in for the SCV6 contingent. - 2015 SCV6 - OE oil and change intervals, all at the dealer - At 49,900 miles (no joke) noise became very obvious. Dealer originally dismissed as normal but after a second visit agreed there was an issues and replaced tensioners, guides. Mine still... -

Only thing I heard about them is that the Diesel engine needs to be driven, shorter trips build up a lot of deposits. A Range with extra range would be nice.- colorover
