Ah, I must've overlooked that, sorry. Reputable tire shops are perfectly fine. I actually refuse to go to the dealer for any tire related stuff, simply because my local tire shop is excellent and charges much less. I'd just ensure that your tire shop has/uses a touchless tire mount machine.

@ProTonez Hmm, that's odd. Mine have been very comfortable and vibration-free. They ride extremely well and smoothly compared to many other all-terrain tires on the market, which was one of the key reasons I bought them (especially considering the 285 width).
@ProTonez The rubbing only occurs when the wheels are turned just before and at full-lock. I wouldn't say it's loud, but you can hear it. For instance, you wouldn't be able to hear it with the radio or A/C on at certain levels.
I haven't seen the 265s in the flesh so I can't really comment on...
Do a little research, and you'll find that many (including myself) run 285/50R20 tires. I am running Nitto Terra Grappler G2s and they rub a bit during the first 4-5k miles, but then starts to disappear. The rubbing isn't damaging anything, so it shouldn't be a cause for concern.

Wow, that's a shame! I absolutely loved my TDI Audi loaners I had in the past. When my cars were in for service, I always asked for 3.0TDI A6s or Q5s. The torque was fantastic, and chipped, they would've been a riot.
I believe he sold them. If so, Voyager should now have another set available since I canceled my order, unless someone already snatched them up.

Saw one at my dealer today.
What's funny about rear quarter shots of this car is that the ass looks 'in your face', but what's even funnier is that in person, that quarter really, actually is IN YOUR FACE.

I literally just filled up and got nearly 100 more miles out of this tank than I had been getting all winter long (same mixed driving). Looks like summer-grade fuel has arrived!

Not much useful protection? Huh?
While I was getting my oil changed today, a guy at my Rover shop told me that they have to charge 2 hrs of labor on LR3/4s that have Tactical sliders just to remove and reinstall them when they need to access the compressor for repair/replacement (and other...
I placed an order for some Voyagers today. I spoke to the gentleman at Voyager earlier, and he said he'd gladly knock $100 off to leave them uncoated. I'm having my local powder-coater do them over properly, and they'll be sent to his business (which knocks another $100 off of shipping). I'm...
Yes, the hitch extension is very clever, but I can see why it’d be a bit of a nuisance. I don’t see why your new rack wouldn’t accomplish what you want, while being more secure.
Looking forward to seeing some pics!
