tail gate latch failure (2nd time)
is the process above the same one that the dealership uses to get to it? If so, I see why this is a $500-$800 job. I haven't had time to try it yet, although the write up above and a tech document from another forum look easy to understand. Its been 100 degrees here in Illinois the last few... -

So I tried it....took of rubber cap, not a lot of corrosion on the switch. Any instructions on how to replace the switch (tricky since I can't open the hatch!) also, any leads to get that switch in the US? Thanks all!! Lastly, figured I'd ask......is that switch the ONLY way to open the hatch?? -

voice recognition issues with 06 LR3 w/o Nav
its weird...no matter what I say, it either replies with a "Sorry" or command canceled..so it hears me, just doesnt understand me. My understanding is that the mic is to the right of the steering wheel, so I even tried aiming my voice there, changing my cadence, etc...nothing -

So how do I program my remote to open the back hatch? I have it programmed to flash my lights, and looked but didnt see how to program the hatch. If that works, I will know its the microswitch in the tailgate handle ..as I hear it clicking when I unlock and when I hold both dash buttons down... -

2006 LR3 V8, 118k miles, hatch issues
Recently my hatch stop opening....I hear it click to open and it unlocks when I hit the fob, but no luck. Any ideas? The emergency unlock (pushing lock and unlock on dash) doesn't work either... Any ideas. -

So I need a new parking brake actuator, but for $1400 I left it alone. Never used it anyway. Recently my hatch stop opening....I hear it click to open and it unlocks when I hit the fob, but no luck. Lug Nut Caps
Yeah....I had a friend who manages a NTB, who usually does my rotations, tires,etc. the break in price is a trade off for needing new caps. Not sure if they use the wrong size or what? Looks like the dealer it is -

I've got a 2006 LR3 and I am looking for a new set of lug nut caps. Any leads? I've tried all the aftermarket spots, no luck. I found the caps that fit other models, but none for 2006 and up. I have found the lug nuts, but not the caps alone. Any leads? -

Suspension Fault
I've got an 06 LR3 and I've had years of suspension issues...I have replaced the left front height sensor, re-calibrated the air suspension, had a new suspension overlay line installed, got a new battery and new negative battery cable, and had the right front suspension arm replaced...all since... -

voice recognition issues with 06 LR3 w/o Nav
My voice recognition just doesnt work. It wont understand my commands, and just says sorry in the male UK voice until it cancels the command. Any ideas? I am going to try and talk towards teh mike (lower right of steering wheel), but any other tips? Also, how do I change teh voice to the UK Female? -

aftermarket Sub and amp installation
I'm looking to add an aftermarket sub and amp to my 2006 LRY with the HK system. Any best practices? I was told by a friend of a LR tech NOT to mess with the factory amp under the seat. I think the wiring to the sub is in the RH back panel, not sure if that helps me. Also, does the stock radio... -

1st time poster, good morning,..I have a 2006 LR3 and once a week I get an HDC fault light on..1 second later the brake light comes on, 1 second later the symbol with the "tipping LR3" comes on...when these all come on, the suspension drops and can't be raised..no special functions are... -
