95 Classic Engine Replacement
there is a gent here in town that is known on the west coast as being the best rover engine builder. I'll get his name for you, he built the motor that is in the rover I just purchased and I've never driven a rover that runs this good and doesn't leak. J- JJMyerz

Best place for gearing?
Are you sure I won't need the gears? I figure that the 3.9 needs as much help as it can get going over the pass to go surfing and keeping the 13-15mpg it gets.- JJMyerz

Best place for gearing?
I'm back! as of tommorrow I will have a 91 RRC. I am looking to put a 2" OME lift and maybe 265/75R16s. Will these tires fit? I assume I need to re gear and would like to know where I can get the best deals on a set of 4.10. Thanks Justin- JJMyerz

Building a Rangie into a reliable vehicle.
I used too own a disco and got rid of it because of the many problems it had. I find myself looking at early-mid 90's range rover swb and I am curious if these can be built into a reliable DD and light trail vehicle. What oil filter to use???
what is the long one originally for? Mobil 1 filters are more common in my area and I'm not sure which car to look under for the longer filter. -

Or powdercoat them for like $15 per wheel. The nice thing about alloys is they don't bend. They will crack but take a longer beating before they crack than a steel wheel will before it bends. Alloys are also lighter which = Less breakage -

Longer roof rails /rack
I saw a D2 with longer roof rails / rack today and would like to know if these are available for D1s or if they can be fitted? Or maybe I can get D2 rail thingys and put those on a D1? My surfboard and snowboard carrying would work out so much better if I had these. Thanks Justin -
JKS Disconnects
Sergei. I have been pondering this for sometime, I'm not sure about lifted rovers but JKS will not work on a stock rover...not enough room. What I have decided to tackle at some point down the road is to aquire a D2 sway bar and attach to the front of the disco frame like they do on... -
Blown D1???
Get a snorkel, exhaust, headers and chip then see how much more power you need. -
Exhaust wraps
Wraps will cause your manifold to crumble, they should only be used on applications such as race cars that do not drive that much. I forget why the wraps ruin headers / manifolds but they do. If your really wanting to get heat out, get them coated. Justin -

It looks like a full disco too me, they just welded the doors shut on the rear. -
Oil Cooler Removal
Aparently LR took these coolers out in '02 because they were causing more harm than good with the leaks that occured. One can get blanking plugs to plug the holes on a D1 and delte this system all together.... Opinions? Justin -
Oil Pressure Gauge?
Anyone know if a A Piller gauge pod can be found for Rovers? I would like to put in a few gauges. -
