UNRESOLVED! I'll try to be brief. Light went off 'magically' as previously mentioned...Started hearing a squeak about 5 days later. Resolved: Thanks for all the quick replies! It's funny that based on previous posts I preemptively printed the brake bible off and and gave it to them at the time of service. Hopefully they used it. I wish I could offer more help to the board about a sensor that went bad or other...- penguinrover

Ok I swear this is what happened when mine was still under warranty (luckily). And no laughing out loud :tongue:. The dealership finally took my car back in and kept it for about a week. Need to replace pads and rotors
Of course this is all based on the dealer telling me I need both new brakes and rotors. I assume these are both original brakes and rotors at 54k (I purchased at 39k). Only problem I have ever had is high pitched squeaking of front brakes at 5mph or less (as in driving through...- penguinrover

Street Driving Tire??
Tried to post for a few days now but apparently the server had a hatred for me. Thanks for all your feedback. Got a few quotes from some local guys. Around 1000 for Generals, 850 for Nitto, 730 for Kumho. This includes balance and lifetime rotation, etc included. My question is can these...- penguinrover

I specifically told them to check the battery citing my "expert friends" online. I will tell them again tomorrow. I saw that light issue down a few threads that can cause engine/gearbox faults, so I'm also going to print that off and take it. Of course I'm sure there are about 1000 different...- penguinrover

Just got the car back from the shop. They did the 40,000 mile maintenance. Changed the oil, replaced the filters, and said that the pollen filter needed replacing. This was $286 out of pocket expenses. As for the error messages, they said they "cleared the codes" and told me to drive it...- penguinrover
