Engine Fan
Has anyone had issues with their engine fan? Mine has sounded funny for some time, so I had it checked out at the dealer and they said its going out and should be replaced at some point soon for $900. My indy guy says the fan is $450 plus a couple hours labor so probably a couple bills cheaper... -
Replacing plugs
I'm at 105k and 8 years, the service manual calls for replacing the spark plugs really as the only big thing for this service. Have most on here done the same at that interval or at 8 years should I go ahead and do the 120k tune-up or just wait until then for the plugs as well? -
Tire Pressure Sensor
I'm replacing a wheel that was curbed and making it my new spare. Is it possible to re-use the sensor on the damaged rim for my new rim, or do I need to buy a new sensor for the new wheel? I'm content with not having a sensor on my spare. Also I assume a full sized spare fits underneath... -
Factory roof cross bars
Does anyone know where or how I can get a replacement key for the crossbars and has anyone used them to haul a 14 ft kayak? Thanks. -

Using command shift
I find myself using comand shift more often. What are you thoughts on advantages and disadvantages? I like that it allows me to use my brakes less because we all love burning through our brakes. :biggrin: What are your thoughts? Uses more gas? Extra wear on the tranny? -

Dash Crack
Just noticed this small crack on the passenger airbag outline in the dash. Anybody else have this happen with 44k? I would think this is covered under warranty? this has been a dallas rover for most of it's life. I'll post a pic in a few hours... -

Picked up my new toy last night
07 LR3 HSE. I got to drive it home 900 miles (5 hours, slept and then 10 hours straight today), it drove amazing the whole way. I'll dig into the manual tomorrow. The first issue to fix is the the driver's door not responding to the remote, actuator perhaps. -
Need Advice LR service techs!
I've put down a deposit on an 07 HSE out of state, it's a pretty good deal, selling 4k below and slightly above trade in. The car fax is clean, it was a 3 year lease return out of Dallas and bought by a wholesaler with 39,000 miles on it. They said it's recentle it's regular service done at LR... -

Faded Knobs
Why are the audio and temperature control knobs on most of the used LR3's I look at faded and look awful? Any fix? -

There is one for sale for $14k, not that I'm really considering buying it, but what kind of repair/maintenance issues might be needed at this mileage? Things to look for? -
CPO, worth it?
I'm looking at buying an 06 or 07. Is buying a CPO through the dealer worth the extra cash it will cost as opposed to buying non-CPO? Also has anyone had success in buying a used LR3 from the dealer under their sticker price? Thanks
