Service engine soon after oxygen sensor

If you replace an Oxygen sensor you should clear the light with a scan tool and reset engine adaptions with that tool.

    Error codes

Luckily the newer MAF sensors are not too expensive. Some of the older rover products can run over $700 for a MAF sensor.

    water in spark plug

Probably has a slipped sleeve in the the block. Common for an overheated engine. You could try a machine shop to fix the sleeve, but it is probably best to find a junkyard engine.

    Electric Fan ???

The LR3 has a fan with an electrical connector. If you took off your fan the truck would know and not be happy. The connector is on the left side(drivers) of the shroud if you don't believe me. I don't think removing the fan gives that big of a boost in fuel economy anyhow. I took the fan off...

    Missing Hood Lights

I don't think there is going to be much to do in the dark anyway. If your batt is dead it wouldn't light anyhow.

    Tire Rotation

It learns tire position when you take off after starting. you don't need to be in low range to lift the truck on a full vehicle lift, the instructions you read are for doing one wheel on the side of the road. Swapping tires from left to right on same axle is recommended every 15k miles in your...

    Changing door lock actuator ....

series 2 has the actuator built into the latch. 1. Remove inside door panel. a. remove 7 phillips screws (4 on bottom, 2 in center, and one behind inside door handle) b. pry panel off. the door trim tool does come in handy here. 2. Remove window frame. (You can do it without this step...

    new engine

You would get less than you would have to pay in core charges. Generally there is a $500 core charge on such a high cost item. If you keep the old one you have to pay for it.

    Fuel cap loose or missing?

Newer EVAP monitoring systems use a pump to pressurize the system. Previous systems used engine vacuum to put a vacuum on the system and then closed it to see if pressure rose. The gas cap loose warning on the dash was done to get rid of alot of false leak concerns. If the check engine light...

    Automatic Headlight Conversion 2004 RR??

Off topic a bit but, I always hated how auto headlamps don't always turn on when it is raining. Sometimes there is enough light when it is raining to keep the headlights off. But you really should have the lights on in inclimate weather. I don't get why manufacturers don't hook them to the...

Ask them to go on a test drive with you to verify the noise. They won't fix anything they can't prove wrong.

Wheel Speed Sensors won't leave my mind alone

Hard to know what the exact problem is without getting some codes out of it. Worn rotors shouldn't be too bad unless they are warped (causes pulsation in pedal).

    Scalloped rear tires ?

Rotating every 7500 is good enough. Every 3000 will get expensive.

Wheel Speed Sensors won't leave my mind alone

They have notorious hub problems on the series IIs. This might sound screwy but aftermarket brake pads can also cause an erratic signal fault. What kind of pads are you running on? I would try some brake pad anti squeak. It is a kind of sticky glue that goes on the non friction surface of...

Stuttering for 20 seconds after decelerating

Sounds like a misfire to me. I would go with the seafoam. It is the cheapest thing to do. I wouldn't think that the t-box would be causing this.

    Scalloped rear tires ?

There is no recommended tire rotation interval. I believe that is the problem. If you were to rotate your tires every service(7500 miles), I think it should alieviate the problem. It will cost a bit extra, but it is worth the money in the long run. The only alignment angle adjustable on a...

    Brake pad Q.

Should be the same. Their computer is probably confused that the 99.5 and up were Series IIs.
