Service engine soon light and gas cap ?
I have a Land Rover Discovery II 2000, with 149k miles on it, the Service Engine Soon light came on while driving on the highway, blinked a few times then stayed on....while at work i did some research and I had just bought gas, so when i drove it home i tighted the cap, it seemed loose, but not...- ravensfan1996

Car died while driving......
I didnt hear any noise "right" before or when it happened. I have heard the "whirring fan like" noise when i start the car in the morning but it stops when i drive, not sure if that was a warning or not or just a Land rover thing. I still have the 3 amigos, needs a new ABS valve switch...- ravensfan1996

Car died while driving......
They are saying the power steering pump blew and the fluid got on the crank shaft position sensor. So ordered the parts from Atlantic British.....Ill see if this fixes it....I understand how this could stop the truck while driving, but didnt understand how this would prevent the car from...- ravensfan1996

Car died while driving......
I have 2000 Land Rover Discovery II with 145k miles on it. Today while coming home, As I made a left hand turn the engine just died. ABS/TC/Hill Decent
I had the 3 amigos about a year ago, took it to the dealer and they said was the abs and brakes lines....$$$$$$ later it all went away... Now just this week they come...turn engine off...turn back on they are gone....keeps going on and off. Ill asume its just dirty. Not being a car...- ravensfan1996

ABS light
Nope no warranty, its a 2000 i bought used. Ive heard others state try power washer or air compresser to get out the dirt. So ill try that first. Its been very dry here in the md/pa area so might be very dusty/dirty. Im no gearhead but is it "easy" to rseat? and where are the ABS sensors...- ravensfan1996

New Disco...Some Issues
Hey im not an expert, but i had that "wooshing" sound before and asked the question on here about it. Check your coolant. Mine was low, filled it, stopped the problem.- ravensfan1996

ABS light
My ABS, TC and downhill lights all came on yesterday. The car seems fine and brakes. Is this one for those quirky things that happens to land rovers that can be fixed? or does it indicate a problem? I havent had any "recent" brake work done. I did have the rear brakes and brake line...- ravensfan1996
