Hi all,
I'm a new member and have registered with this site because i'm really interested in buying a Freelander, I road-tested one the other day which was the 2.0 TD from 2000 one. I'm on the verge of buying it but wanted a little advice from you guys here.
When pulling away at low revs there is a shudder which appers to be coming from the back {it affects the rear window the most} and also a slight vibration when a gear is engaged but i'm not touching the accelerator {mainly when going down a slight hill}. Are these normal Freelander traits or is there something wrong which may be expensive to fix? Thanks

Not sure on this issue, I would have it checked out before buying... could be something as simple as bad tire wear on the rear...
