Can anyone tell me where the transmission fluid is suppose to go in a 2003 range rover

It is a sealed system per Land Rover... but If I recall correctly the passenger side top of the transmission you should find the fill bolt. Be very careful not to over fill, since there is not dip stick.

A.T.F. Automatic Transmission Fluid. You can buy it from the dealership or any european auto-parts store in your area. Not too sure if there is a filter inside the trany, but if there is, you might want to replace that to. It's up to you though. Good luck.

Yes, the fill plug is on the passenger side rear of the transmission, just above the fluid pan. When you fill it, fill it until it comes out. Start the car and put the shifter through the different gears and hold it in each position for a few seconds. WITH THE CAR IN PARK AND THE CAR STILL RUNNING, FILL THE TRANSMISSION AGAIN!!! This needs to be done on all ZF transmissions and it will take about an additional quart. The transmission filter is actually internal the transmission fluid pan.
