Its that time to replace the brakes on my 2004 Land Rover Discovery.

I was wondering if its worth purchasing the OEM brake pads and the DBA Longlife Gold Vented Front / Rear Brake Rotor which are on Expedition Exchanges website. Or will i not notice any difference and should just stick with the OEM discs and pads?

Thanks,

The vented rotors will increase stopping ability and prevent them from overheating. Using the OEM pads will prevent squealing when the brakes are applied. If you decide to go with higher end brake pads, keep in mind that some may require a warm up period before they work well.

That looks like your standard brake kit all OEM parts.

cross drilled and drilled rotors are the biggest pieces of **** to ever put on a rover.

they are designed for cars that dont get wet.

not for trucks that get dirty.

otherwise they rust up in the vents and pulsate that crazy. happens all the time.
