New to this forum. Stationed with the Coast Guard in San Diego. Recently sold my 1997 Defender and purchased a 2006 Range Rover HSE with 93K. Had the Defender for 6yrs and loved every minute of it. Currently outfitting my RR to be a more rugged off road/ski vehicle. Biggest step for me is wheels and tires. I have combed the forum and read this article and still had a few questions..

http://www.rangerovers.net/outfitting/tires/mkiiitires.html

The wheels id like to get are the ATX Ravine. Sizing wise everything lines up to fit the car (i think). My concern is the lug nuts/bolt issue that is mentioned as a reason why 03-05 RR wheels are not compatible. Is there any issue id face with these wheels not fitting the RR? Looking on the ATX website they populate as an option for the car just curious what the impacts will be and if there is anything I'm missing.

Goal is to pick up these and a set of general grabber AT2 tires and then unload my stock 19" wheels to cover some of the cost. Bought the truck and its wrapped in some cheap tires that are not snow/trail capable. The only all terrain option for the 19" is the wrangler and id prefer to shift to a more standard tire size and want the extra rubber. Are there any other 18" wheel options people have considered for the 06 RR? I know there are some stock ones mentioned in the article but the price on those is steep. Thanks for the help looking forward to seeing people on the trails and slopes!
