there is a fuel consumption differential betweel the US and UK petrol versions, do you know what explains this ??

in the case anybody knows; there are mgp and emission differences between the US and UK new V6 petrol Disco 4, does anybody knows why ?? (same engine, hp, etc).

1 US mpg = 1.2 UK mpg.
Imperial gallon vs US gallon. Also different test cycles in EU and US.
