It sat for 3 days in 20 degree weather, tried to start for several times after that , no luck. Turns over but will not start.
Temperature rose to above 50 ,after 2 weeks of very cold weather, now starts.

Has not happened before? Frozen fuel line? Fuel filter?

Any thoughts?

Thanks

How many miles on the pump, is the fuel pump relay original, when did you last change your fuel filter?
If it happens again, may want to check your fuel pressure.

30,000 fuel pump
3,000 fuel filter
Fuel pump relay ..do not know
Would these parts suffer problems in below freezing weather?
Total of 240,000 miles
Thanks

The age could be a factor when it comes to the fuel pump, relay and filter, the formulation , winter blend will cause a slight drop in MPG only.

repairs done to hopefully fix starting issue

mechanic diagnosis:
VEHICLE HAS A LONGER CRANK TIME TIL THE FUEL GETS TO THE
RAIL. STARTS OK AFTER STARTED ONCE.

FOUND A FUEL LEAK FROM THE LINES ON
THE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE ON THE RIGHT SIDE. SHOULD REPLACE THE FUEL
PUMP, AND LINES. FOUND THE FUEL PUMP FILLED WITH CHUNKS OF SOMETHING.
REPLACED THE FUEL LINES FROM THE FIREWALL TO THE TANK ON THE RETURN SIDE. REPLACED FROM THE FUEL FILTER TO THE FIREWALL ON THE PRESSURE SIDE. REPLACED THE FUEL FILTER. THE LINE FROM THE TANK TO THE FILTER IS NOT AVAILABLE. MADE THE LINE FROM THE TANK TO THE FUEL FILTER OUT OF
WHAT WAS AVAILABLE FORM THE REST OF THE LINES. ATTACHED THE LINES AS
BEST AS POSSIBLE WITH WlHAT IS LEFT ON THE BODY, AND FRAME. CRADLE IS
QUITE RUSTY. BUT ENOUGH TO HOLD THE TANK AT THIS TIME. NEED TO KEEP AN EYE ON THE CRADLE.

starts and runs much better in general and started right up in very cold weather.

Disco mike , thanks for your help
