95 keyless entry

Does a remote from a 96 Disco work with a 95 Disco? I am looking on ebay for one and I found one that says it will work on Discos from 94-98. The only question I have is that the 95 remote had one button while the 96 and newer have two buttons. I e-mailed the guy selling it and he said it would work. I just wanted to check with the experts here before I spend the $.
