97 Disco Starter Removal

Does anyone know what size the hex bolts are for the starter? Tried using 3/8 but seems a bit small. This is a 4.0 engine, thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks Vegas, that is a great link for starter removal. I was thinking a 10 mm as it is a little bigger than a 3/8 hex key. Guess it will be off the auto parts place to pick up some metric hex key sockets.

Well before I went out to buy a new starter decided to use a battery jumper directly to the starter. Starter turned right over so figured it was a bad solonide. Hooked that back up and the starter works fine now. Thanks for all the help, but guess I just lucked out and did not have to remove the starter after all.
