Hi, my rover buddies.I have question for you. Can the temp. gauge go up if the condenser fans are not working? The reason why i ask because mine are not working. Why doesn't your temp. gauge go up when your engine is real hot or when you blow the A/C on. It never shows any signs of over heating. Should i get them replace before the summer time or don't worry right now. Any feed-back guys, thanks. 99 disco1 SD.

If the fans do not come on when the A/C is on you have an issue, it may or may not be the fans, it could be a sensor.

The temp sensor on a rover will go up if it overheats, but tends to sit near the middle no matter if there is a fluctuation in the temp or not.

I have seen mine move once when I had my S-belt come apart while pulling a trailer up hill... temp went up fast.
