My 1997 LR Discovery has anti-lock brakes. I replaced the pads and find a pair of wires coming out of the pads with a connector on the other end. I don’t find anywhere to connect the connector. The anti-lock seems to be working fine. Any ideas what the connector is for? Also, my anti-lock brake warning light used to come on intermittently, after I changed the pads and now it stays on. Any ideas on that one too? Thanks.

Good questions. Maybe Disco Mike has the answers.

The wire isn't for anything on your Disco. Clip it off or wire it up out of the way.
It could be coincidental that the ABS is on now, but try pushing the wheel sensors all the way in.
The D1 ABS system sucks in the fact that it can fail without warning and leave you with no brakes.
