im trying to do the brakes right now but where are the bolts to remove the caliper frame on the 99 DII, are any special tools or just brute force required to undo them as i seem to be having problems getting mine off?

Last time I did mine I used penatrating oil. Give it a few shots and tap it a few times to loosen the bolt up. May need heat.

Thanks, actually i ended up buying a 17inch breaker bar which got it off with a lot less force then when i was trying with a hand ratchet and a cheater bar! Had to buy a torque wrench too, but apparently i dont know how to use it as a sheared off one of the caliper guide pin bolts trying to tighten it to speck. So off to the stealer to get a couple of bolts as i understand you are supposed to replace the rear bolts each time you do the pads.
